The VII Moscow International Forum of Innovative Development “Open Innovations”, the theme of which was “Sources of digital breakthrough”, ended at the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

This year, “Open Innovations” was held in the format of three thematic days: “Personnel and Education”, “Business and Government”, “Science and Technology”. More than 200 events took place within the framework of the program – panel sessions, conferences, round tables, presentations of innovative projects and programs. At the StartUp station and the iMarket space, innovative entrepreneurs presented more than 220 projects in 11 industrial sectors – one of them was the Production block, where VISITECH’s IT solutions were demonstrated as the flagship company of the Skolkovo Foundation’s IT cluster.

The speakers and guests of the Forum were representatives of government, business, start-ups, heads of large companies, researchers and experts in the field of high technologies, education, R&D and investments. Geography of the participants – 90 countries, including the USA, China, Japan, India, Germany, Israel, South Africa.

The Forum was attended by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Maxim Akimov, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Co-Chair of the Skolkovo Foundation Council, President of the Skolkovo Foundation Viktor Vekselberg, Co-Chair of the Skolkovo Foundation Council, Chairman of the Skolkovo “Arkady Dvorkovich.

Dmitry Medvedev during the plenary session “Smart Country. National Strategy “noted:” In the digital age, the speed and scope of change is certainly growing constantly. To reap all the benefits of progress, you need to create an environment that is capable of embedding a system of constant updates. The main components are modern technological infrastructure and people’s readiness to master and use these new technologies. Only in this case is digitalization possible, which will bring the economy, the social sphere, and public administration to a new level of efficiency. To the level that corresponds to the concept of Smart Country ”.

Viktor Vekselberg, Co-Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation Council, President of the Skolkovo Foundation: “For the last three years we have been holding the Open Innovations Forum at the Skolkovo Foundation, and this has given it a certain specificity. Along with a large number of discussion platforms that exist in the forum format, we give priority to startups and innovative entrepreneurs. If initially their participation was insignificant, then last year about 150 companies took part in the Forum. This year this figure has grown to 220. ”

During the three days of the Forum, 34 agreements were signed with the participation of Russian and foreign companies, funds and development institutions.

In general, the event was attended by over 20 thousand people.
